A long-time client, we were excited to collaborate with Nott Architecture and Holmes Construction on this standout Martinborough venue. Our work spanned several stages—beginning with an underground barrel hall, then a restaurant, tasting room, and gin distillery above. We also installed a 20kW solar array to help reduce energy costs.
This off-grid installation features an 21kWp solar array paired with a 48kWh lithium, battery with a 40kVA backup generator, designed to deliver reliable power where grid access isn’t available. The products we use provide great monitoring and management via remote access, which helps our clients manage their systems with ease.
This site has a reliable water source with plenty of elevation across site, allowing for us to install 3 turbines producing a total of 40kWh per day. Access to the creek bed was challenging at times, and we utilised our working at heights experience using rope and harness to rappel
